Basics about purchasing through our website:
- Purchases of fabrics, patterns, notions and other sewing-related materials may be made through our website. When you have completed your purchase (Checkout), you will receive an automated acknowledgment. An Order Confirmation is sent separately when we process your order.
Fabric prices are quoted by the yard. When you order 1 unit, your shopping cart will show the price for 1 yard. Our minimum online purchase is ½ yard. If you want fractional yardage (e.g. , ½ yard or 1 1/3 yards), indicate this in the Comments section of your order and your total cost will be adjusted manually when we process the order and send you the Order Confirmation.
Sales tax is charged on the total of materials and shipping charge for shipments made to New Jersey addresses. We do not collect taxes for shipments to other states.
We try to use the most economical shipping method. Estimated shipping charges that include a modest handling fee to cover our cost are shown when you place your order. Final shipping charges (typically less than the estimated charges) are shown on your Order Confirmation. If you need expedited or special handling, please let us know in the Comments section of your order.
We also gladly accept phone orders. Please have the item number, SKU, pattern number, or item description available when you call.
Cut fabrics, patterns and copyrighted materials are not returnable. Before shipping, we inspect fabrics to ensure there are no manufacturer flaws. Due to the variances in individual monitor settings, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your monitor accurately represents the actual color of fabric on the bolt. Please call us before ordering if you have any questions about color match, pattern repeat, etc.
Notions (e.g. scissors) are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
We stock many items not shown on our website. Please call or email us with questions you have about availability of specific fabrics, kits, notions, buttons, embellishments, sewing machines, books, and cutting devices that may not be shown here.Our relationship with our customers and their satisfaction with our service is very important to us.
